We return to Waverley Abbey for our Christmas lunch.

A. Roast turkey with traditional trimmings
B. Tenderloin pork medallions with a pancetta and spinach filling, served with wild mushroom cream sauce
C. Tuna steak with coriander and lime butter on sautéed courgette
D. Rainbow pie – roasted vegetables encased in a Roman spelt shortcrust pastry (v)

1 Steamed Christmas pudding with brandy sauce
2. Triple chocolate brownie with a quenelle of crème fraiche

3 Crème brûlée with a hint of Cointreau
4. Selection of cheese and biscuits with red onion chutney. Wensleydale and cranberry, Stilton, mature Cheddar
