Visitors welcome
TAS Farnham is one of the largest Decorative and Fine Arts Societies in the UK and was founded in 1983. We hold 10 lectures a year on the third Tuesday of each month, except July and August. Meetings are usually held at 10.30 in the Great Hall of the Maltings which seats 320 people. Situated in the centre of Farnham, The Maltings has a car park and small cafe, an ideal place to meet up for coffee.
LECTURES
The Society chooses top lecturers to speak on a wide range of topics in the decorative and fine arts covering all aspects, including jewellery, paintings, sculptures, music, glass, gardens and houses. Click here for future lectures. A list of past lecturers and lectures is here. Non members are welcome to attend at a cost of £8. Prior booking is not required.
VOLUNTEERS
We are a friendly Society and everyone has the opportunity of getting involved in the many active Groups as volunteers. These include Heritage, Church Recording and Young Arts and is a wonderful way of getting to know other people with similar interests.
